Alta Sethaler Scholarship

Any CFDD Denver Chapter member may apply for a scholarship provided the member has met the following:

1. Dues as required must be paid current.
2. Six (6) months membership must have been met.
3. Member must have been an active member. Active participation is defined as:
    a. Having attended 50% of the prior six (6) month regular meetings
    b. Any member who is attending NACM classes on a regular meeting night shall be exempt from the 50% attendance      provided the member is currently serving on a committee or has previously served as an officer, chairman, or on a      committee in the last 2 years.
4. Application must be received prior to attendance of the event or class start date. All applicants will be notified in writing of a decision within 30 days of receipt of application.
5. Course must be satisfactorily completed with a "C" grade (70%) or better.
6. Receipt must be submitted as proof of payment within 30 days of completion.
    a. Fees will not be paid in advance but will be released upon satisfactory evidence of course completion with a passing      grade (see item #5 above) or conference/seminar attendance.
7. Recipient must report to the general membership on the course, conference, seminar, etc. either by a written report to be published in the newsletter, or by a report presented before the membership at a monthly education meeting. Reports are to be received or given within 60 days of completion of function. Failure to comply will disqualify recipient of future CFDD scholarships.
8. Funds will be paid to qualified recipients within 30 days after item #6 is fulfilled, provided member is in good standing.

Scholarships are to be awarded to apply to the cost of registration ONLY and any additional CFDD functions (i.e. CFDD sponsored meals). Should a scholarship recipient receive a scholarship from another source, the amount to be paid by the Chapter will be the amount awarded by the Scholarship Committee for the registration, OR the difference between the registration fee less the amount of any other scholarship received by the recipient, whichever is less.

Any exception to the above criteria must be approved by a majority of the Alta Sethaler Scholarship Committee.

***All scholarship awards will be based on available funds at the time of application.
